VOLUNTEER

YOU CAN BE A PART OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF CHILDHOOD HUNGER.

Without the help of volunteers, we would not be able to provide so many Hopefulls each week.

At the center of Hopefulls, Inc. is a kitchen, that works to make high-quality, nutritious meals to feed children in our community. Volunteers come and help us prep, scoop, and package these meals and get them ready for delivery. No kitchen experience is required.

Kitchen volunteer times are on Mondays of each week and are broken into 2 hour blocks. Volunteer can either choose to serve from 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm or sign-up for both time slots and spend your lunch break at Given Coffee Co. (located inside our facilities).
Twice a week, volunteers prepare Hopefulls for delivery and drive them to our partner schools where you drop the meals off at the assigned location within the school and travel back to our commissary kitchen to return the delivery bags.  We map out a route for you to make 2-3 deliveries to elementary schools in the same area.

Delivery volunteer times are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-10:30am.  [Note: All delivery volunteers require a background check and must drive their own vehicle.]

"Volunteering with Hopefulls means a lot to me because I've seen firsthand how children came in without anything to eat the night before when I worked at a school. Because of this, I know what it means to children to receive these meals for dinner."

"Hopefulls became one of the best parts of my week after my first day serving."
